Marketing Intern

SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Marketing Director the Marketing Intern will support the marketing department in several facets from projects, graphic design and any assignments as needed.

REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES: (Employee may perform any combination of the essential functions shown below. • Assists in various marketing-related projects, including maintaining a photo library, proofing content, research, maintaining files, meetings etc.
• Performs other related duties and assignments as required with the appropriate assistance of the other marketing specialists.
• Assist in creating, duplicating and producing artwork for presentations, email marketing and social media campaigns.
• Work closely with marketing team to ensure deliverables, goals and deadlines are met.
• Event planning and coordination
• Promotion and collateral ordering
• Social media monitoring and posting
• Any additional duties as required by department needs

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong desire to learn along with professional drive
• Solid understanding of different marketing techniques
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Familiarity with marketing computer software and online applications (e.g. CRM tools, Online analytics and Google Adwords)
• Passion for the marketing industry and its best practices
