Marketing Director Position Summary:

Our Digital Marketing Director will work with our Executive team to optimize all online marketing activities including being responsible for planning, implementing, and analyzing support of all online marketing initiatives plus, any new digital business opportunities.

This role is all encompassing for every aspect of Homemaker’s business, to include driving traffic to the website and showroom through organic and paid search efforts. This person will oversee creating and executing strategic goals/objectives plus monitor and analyze on-going progress/results. This individual will need to have strong analytical skills, creative acumen, managerial mind set and visionary thinking.

Essential Position Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for the successful development of all digital marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and revenue
  • Leads the digital marketing planning, execution, and budget to ensure spend is optimized across channels to attain revenue goals
  • Monitor all digital marketing campaigns and improve when necessary
  • Leverages research tools and data to form strategic approaches that are driven by actionable insights
  • Demonstrates experience with designing and implementing successful marketing strategies across all digital channels
  • Works with the team and any potential 3rd party agencies to create fully integrated marketing programs across all channels
  • Responsible for the integration of all digital marketing campaigns including email, SMS, social media, PPC, OTT, SEO, and retargeting. Will lead and manage all team members involved in the execution of these customer touchpoints
  • Creates positive collaboration with the HM buying team on all digital marketing campaigns and product promotions
  • Develop and provide KPI’s for all digital efforts, both at the top-line and campaign levels, ensuring optimal ROI/ROAS of the digital marketing budget and overall revenue goals
  • Coordinates & collaborates with key stakeholders throughout the organization to enhance our digital presence and assist other departments with online marketing initiatives
  • Stays on top of industry trends, tools, and best practices while working in conjunction with the Ecommerce Director to optimize the customer experience across devices and touchpoints
  • Continuously track competitor activities
  • Coach, mentor and develop staff, including providing feedback and recognition regularly by using effective performance management tools. Set up framework to encourage setting goals, receiving feedback and performance development
  • Oversee the mission and critical measures of the department, including expenses, retention, turnover, etc.
  • Collaborate with the Ecommerce Director on web traffic metrics and suggest opportunities to boost web traffic and conversions
  • Coordinate and collaborate with Branding, Corporate Social Responsibility, Events and Visual Marketing departments
  • Assists in working special events conducted by the company

Education/Work Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 10 years of Digital Marketing experience required
  • Expert with E-Commerce systems, operations, and digital advertising media & metrics
  • Experience with CRM software and digital marketing tools and techniques
  • Experience designing and implementing successful marketing campaigns that coordinate across all channels
  • Solid knowledge of SEO, web analytics and Google AdWords
  • Ability to recruit, develop, manage & train staff
  • Ability to manage both at a strategic and tactical level
  • Strong analytical, project, and leadership/management skills
  • Strategic thinker but can be tactical if need be
  • High energy leader with ability to make difficult decisions

  • Strong working knowledge of analytics platforms
