Service Maintenance Technician (Must be able to lift 80lbs)

Hellas Construction, Inc., The #1 Sports Construction company in North America, is seeking two Service & Maintenance Technicians (DUO/PARTNERS) to join our team and increase our national presence in the Pacific Northwest. Home office located in Mountlake Terrace, WA. THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE SIGNIFICANT MULTISTATE TRAVEL .

Hellas Construction Inc., headquartered in Austin, TX, is nationwide, specializing in sports facility construction. We manufacture, install & resurface artificial turfs & synthetic surfaces while completing the design from start to finish.

Ideal candidate must have a clean criminal record and ability to pass a background and/or fingerprint check, drug screen, and possess a valid Driver’s License. Spouse team or business partners ideal. Must have a designated space and ability to park truck and trailer during off hours.

Duties & Responsibilities include but not limited to:

· Service and maintenance/repairs on existing synthetic turf fields and running tracks.

· Operate variable reach forklift, Kubota tractor, UTV.

· Aid synthetic turf crew in installation of fields, including cutting and rolling out turf and sewing or gluing seams.

· Adhere to safety requirements on construction sites.

· Perform tasks as assigned to aid in set-up and maintenance of orderly and safe work environment.

· Daily paperwork and reports.

· Follow DOT guidelines and standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

· No prior experience in Synthetic Turf maintenance is required, however any construction, carpet laying, or landscaping experience is a plus.

· Must be willing to travel extensively across the country, focused on the Pacific Northwest region of the US

· Must have experience operating basic hand tools.

· Must demonstrate reliability, responsibility, and cooperation in team settings.

· Must be able to do heavy lifting (up to 80lbs).

· Must be able to communicate with Superintendent and follow instructions.

· Clean driving record required.

· Must be able to follow safety guidelines while working on a construction site.

· Great Customer Service presence/communication.

· Physical requirements include but are not limited to: Sitting, standing, grasping, reaching, bending, walking, stooping, crouching and lifting.
