Frontend UI/UX Interface Design Specialist - HYBRID

Rapidly growing software company in San Fernando, CA (over 15,000 companies use our GPS tracking software) is looking to add a design UI/UX specialist to our team.

The position is an IN-OFFICE position, and after a couple of months getting grooved in it will move to a HYBRID position, with two days required in the office per week.

For this role, we are looking for someone with the following characteristics:

·         A portfolio that demonstrates skill in designing user-friendly and visually appealing web interfaces.

·         5+ years of relevant work experience.

·         Prior specific experience designing interfaces for technical web apps.

·         Experience building mockups/wireframes for new web pages in software like Figma.

·         Proficiency with HTML/CSS/JavaScript and comfortable doing the frontend programming implementation aspect of UI and UX (we want people who can help implement their own designs).

·         Familiarity with frontend frameworks like React or Vue is a big plus.

·         Responsive design experience, designing for both desktop and mobile.

We'd like to add a UI/UX specialist with enough experience that will be comfortable jumping straight into the saddle, but also someone who is interested in CONSTANTLY LEARNING AND IMPROVING and SELF-MONITORING with excellent QUALITY CONTROL OF YOUR OWN WORK. We want someone who is RESPONSIBLE and will add amazing contributions and feedback and teamwork to the company.

We primarily code our frontend in Vue.js which is similar to frontend frameworks like React and Angular.

If you have familiarity with one of these frameworks or just solid knowledge of vanilla JS, learning Vue.js should not be too hard.

Testing for this position will include testing on UI/UX and JavaScript.

The job will grow, and you need to be ready to grow with it. We want you to grow into a senior role during your time here, and become an indispensable part of our small team.

We’re now ready to take on more developers and a design UI/UX specialist to work with our highly skilled development team on-site in our Los Angeles office (in the city of San Fernando).
