Marketing Specialist / Office Administrator
The Marketing Specialist plays a significant role in shaping the company’s identity and awareness within the community through various marketing initiatives and assists in the procurement of new work through qualifications, proposals, and interview presentations. The Marketing Specialist also provides support for business development activities, assisting in nurturing client relationships and cultivating new project opportunities. In addition, the Marketing Specialist will manage the maintenance of our website, social media content creation and distribution, new photography, and video assets.
Key Role Responsibilities
- Engage with co-workers in a professional and personable manner
- Develop, coordinate, and execute marketing campaigns
- Maintain company’s website and social media presence (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) – this requires frequent visits to local job sites and company events to capture creative photo content
- Create proposals, interview presentations (PowerPoint), and customized collateral in a timely manner
- Distribution of quarterly newsletter via Constant Contact (newsletter drafted by VP of BD)
- Coordinate retained photographer's monthly jobsite photo shoots and distribute photos to project stakeholders
- Pursue awards, nominations, and other opportunities for company recognition as needed
- Coordinate and deliver all branded materials – logos for sponsored events and ad materials
- Order and create swag, marketing collateral that is on-brand for public relations, advertising programs, special events, direct-mail programs, holiday gifts, etc.
- Plan and execute fun and engaging company events
- Update and distribute internal contact lists
- Assist with holiday gift creation and delivery
- Order company lunches
Highly Desired Qualifications:
- Excellent writing and verbal communications skills, maintaining high attention to detail
- Be a self-starter with a positive attitude
- Proactive time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, adapting to changing priorities
- Mastery knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Mastery knowledge of all social media platforms, especially Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn & YouTube
- Mastery knowledge of WordPress to routinely update RGGC’s website
- Strong knowledge of Constant Contact for creation and delivery of quarterly newsletters
- Strong photography skills, art direction, execution, and editing
- Basic knowledge of social media analytics and SEO optimization
- Capable drone flight and photography skills
- Avid interest in local news and AEC organizations involved in commercial real estate construction, development, and transactions
