UI/UX Mobile App Designer

LUDEX is an AI based mobile app development company in the sport/trading card and collectible industry and we are looking for a UI/UX Designer in our Chicago office. This is an in-person position at the Ludex office in Chicago, Illinois. Successful candidates are expected to be present in the Chicago office, without requiring relocation. Position: UI/UX Designer for Mobile Successful candidates should demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of mobile UI/UX design principles, methodologies, and tools, as well as a passion for creating seamless user experiences on mobile devices

Skills & Requirements

• At least 2 years of MOBILE Design Experience is required with both iOS and Android (with portfolio demonstrating relevant work)
• Experience in wire framing, prototyping, mock-up creation, user flows
• Solid understanding of mobile design principles, including responsive design, interactive patterns, and
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: including Adobe XD, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
• Proficiency in Figma, Sketch
• Proficiency in responsive design
• Experience in Agile development process

Role and Responsibilities

• UI/UX Designers play a critical role in shaping the digital experiences that users interact with daily. They bridge the gap between aesthetics and functionality, ensuring that products not only look good but also provide meaningful and enjoyable experiences for users. Ludex's UI/UX Designer will create products that enhance our in-app user's experiences. This role is responsible for working with cross-functional teams to develop user-centered design solutions for all levels of products and digital initiatives using research/data to create wireframes, flows and prototypes. Strong focus on mobile interfaces.
• Effectively communicate design concepts, strategy, and the rationale behind design decisions.
• Collaborate with various internal teams to understand business requirements.
• Build wireframes to conceptualize landing page designs to accurately convey the user journey.
• Present end-to-end designs to stakeholders.
• Keep up to date on industry trends, establish and advocate for UX/UI best practices, guidelines and standards, and emerging technologies; contribute to improvements in process and workflow.
