Are you a dynamic and self-motivated individual who loves connecting with people and fostering community relationships? We're seeking a Recruitment Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll play a vital part in engaging with local schools, organizing events, reaching out to the community, and supporting our recruitment efforts.
- Coordinate logistics for recruitment events, career fairs, and employer branding initiatives to attract top talent.
- Serve as a liaison with local educational institutions such as high schools, community colleges, and universities, fostering partnerships and outreach.
- Plan, organize, and execute engagement initiatives including workshops and programs aimed at strengthening community relationships.
- Develop and implement communication strategies for recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training students.
- Create and curate engaging content for various platforms to enhance brand visibility and strengthen relationships.
- Assist in the recruitment process by scheduling interviews, coordinating candidate communication, and managing applicant tracking systems.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and the recruiting team to ensure a seamless candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
- Support the development of job postings, screen resumes, and conduct initial candidate assessments.
- Facilitate onboarding activities for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, marketing, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in community and business engagement, including event coordination and social media management.
- 2+ years of experience in recruitment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in recruitment tools and techniques, including social media and applicant tracking systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Familiarity with employment laws and regulations.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
