Marketing & Business Development Specialist

Hybrid working schedule, based in our Montvale, NJ headquarters.

• Create Content & Campaigns
  • Engage followers on social media platforms, with a focus on LinkedIn. Interacting with mentions, comments and followers following our brand procedures.
  • Create Content & schedule for social Media Posts, Stories, Reels & Web utilizing Canva / Adobe / Later
  • Organize content for marketing campaigns
  • Develop strategies from Industry Trends for increased social engagement
• Event Planning
  • Organize, assist with attendance and coordination of promotional events including in-person and virtual. Attending these events as required.
  • Assist in coordinating marketing materials and deliverables for events
  • Assist in record keeping for event performance and marketing planning for following year

• Carrier Development
  • Profiling updated documents and contacts from carrier update inbox
  • Create & update DMS files for current and prospective carriers
  • Prepare carrier questionnaires for appointment or data updates
  • Cobranding carrier supplemental forms
• Advertising & Marketing
  • Develop ideas for marketing campaigns including advertisements, broadcast emails and promotions.
  • Create marketing literature (brochures, press releases, etc.) to augment the company's presence in the market
  • Write and proofread marketing literature (brochures, press releases, etc.) to augment the company's presence in the market
  • Create surveys, forms and other data collection tools for feedback
  • Review analytics including gathering & reporting on important data (social media, Google analytics, rankings etc.)
  • Inventory & reorder marketing materials/supplies as needed

• Business Development with Clients
  • Lead Oasis Chat Support and user experience
  • Monitor Marketing & Oasis Support Inbox's
  • Review client inquiries via email and triage to route to the appropriate team member
  • Update spreadsheets, databases and inventories with statistical, financial and non-financial information
  • Complete new client onboarding welcome and first year campaigns
  • Assist in Transcribing marketing visit notes from a "call in box" from Underwriters into the CRM.
  • Profile prospective clients in agency management system (ALIS)

• Communicate directly with clients and build relationships
  • Assign leads to sales associates
  • Respond to inquiries on Jimcor's products and services
  • Responding to Jimcor online inquiries and troubleshooting online client issues.
• Back up other members of the team.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Prior marketing experience of 1-3 years desired
• Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or similar field, preferred, but not required with relevant experience.
• Demonstrate the ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
• Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach
• Good knowledge of market research techniques and databases
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office, Internet and Social Media Savvy
• Knowledge of design programs including Canva, Photoshop, Video Editing and Adobe Creative Suite
• Good understanding of office management and marketing principles
• Eager to learn and contribute to a growing team and company
