Routing Supervisor - Austin

Job Purpose:
Be part of creating a centralized routing team servicing retailers nationwide. Must have a strong understanding of routing, attention to detail, and eagerness to succeed.

Duties:

Train, Manage and Develop a team of routers across multiple accounts.

Achieve routing metric goals such as route profitability, stops per route and average mileage.
Arranging routes by location and client; anticipating delivery requirements, delivery teams capabilities and cubic capacity.

Communicate with clients and locations regarding sales volume, daily truck counts and specific customer needs.
Updates routing software to keep pace with seasonal retail volume.

Maintains customer service by providing accurate customer time windows and achievable routes.
Documents actions by completing and updating systems within specified deadlines.
Contribute to team effort by taking pride in creating efficient routes that exceed profitability targets.

Skills/Qualifications:
Strong leadership skills capable of building a highly motivated team. Analytical mindset with an exceptional attention to detail. Experience with Dispatch Track and Descartes, Self-starter, Strong Excel skills, Organization, Great Verbal Communication, Handles pressure well, Multi-tasking, High Energy Level, Teamwork, Problem Solving, Client Relationships, Organization, Thoroughness, Dependability, Deadline Oriented.

This location is open seven days a week- applicants must be available to work on the weekend.

Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday; 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Salary: $50-60,000/DOE; plus benefits and bonus potential.
