Account Executive Outside Sales

1)     Responsibilities & Tasks

a)      Promote and sell corrugated products and value-added services to existing and prospective customers.

b)      Identify opportunities and present solutions offered by the organization that meet the customer’s needs.

c)      Establish and maintain customer relationships through visits, calls, quarterly reviews and internal/external functions while understanding customer requirements.

d)     Cold calling and lead generation. Active pipeline development and management with a focus on increasing active customers and growing volume sales through cold calling and lead generation opportunities.

e)     Expedite and provide resolutions to customer problems and complaints.

Instead:  Act as first point of contact for customer inquiries and complaints and proactively strive for resolution and solutions in timely manner.

f)       Achieve agreed upon sales targets.

g)      Coordinate sales efforts with other departments and team members.

Instead:  Work with other departments to expand segment and product knowledge base and collaborate on promoting solutions to customers needs.  

h)      This is not a remote office job and time daily is expected at the plant.

i)       Perform other tasks as assigned.

2)     Skills Required

a)      5+ years of proven industrial sales experience; corrugated sales experience a plus.

b)     Excellent selling, negotiating and communication skills.

c)      Highly motivated a with the ability to persuade, negotiate and sell with a proven track record

d)     Relationship management skills.   

e)     Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment. Excellent verbal, written, people and diplomacy skills required

Ability to effectively present information to internal and external partners.

f)       Microsoft office and Outlook knowledge.

g)      Territory can be up to 120-mile travel radius.

a)      College degree a plus, minimum high school graduate.
