Job Overview
Sequel Med Tech, an emerging medical device company, is seeking a graduate-level summer intern to work within our Business Operations office. This role will collaborate with our various organizational VPs including Quality, Customer Care, IT and Global Supply Chain. This role will focus on 2 primary areas within Sequel:

1. Providing the foundational elements of analytics for the organization.
2. Providing project and program management support to various organizational leaders.

This role requires 4-day onsite presence, minimum, each week for a duration of at least 10 weeks. There is potential to continue work through the academic year, dependent upon business needs and performance.

Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties

• Provide the foundational elements of analytics using Python and other analytical software to establish our analytics function to aid in measuring the effectiveness of our business model.
• Leverage the functional metrics to help create a balanced scorecard approach first within Business Operations, and then rolling up those metrics across various Sequel offices and for the CEO.
• Partner with the VP, IT to establish the data heuristics and algorithms to evaluate data from downstream as well as product information.
• Establish short interval control and intervention based on data models and escalations.
• Providing project and program management support by working closely with the VPs of Customer Care and Quality on key cross-functional programs and helping to establish PMO governance and linkages.
• Help drive inter and intra Sequel office interactions and leverage Python, etc. to distill milestone performance and project progress.
• Help drive high-impact projects that need completion in an abbreviated amount of time.​​​​​

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other STEM-related field.
• Master's degree ongoing in Business, Science or Technical field.
• 1-2 years of applicable, professional work experience prior to graduate school.

• Knowledge of Microsoft tools, Python and other analytical software tools.
• Ability to work across functional areas and with minimal supervision.
• Ability to leverage data to drive analytics and informatics to escalate issues and also communicate opportunities.
• Close collaboration to ideate on and lay foundation for the analytics pillar within Sequel.
• Calm and focused mindset, with the ability to influence people and functions within and outside of Sequel if needed.
