Accountant

Subterranean Boring Inc., a pioneering leader in the raisebore contracting and manufacturing industry since 1980, is on the hunt for a dynamic Accountant to join our family-owned enterprise in the heart of Golden, CO. We value innovation, integrity, and excellence, and are seeking a proactive and positive individual to oversee the day-to-day financial activities for our three interconnected companies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

\- Dive into the accounting for ongoing projects, work-in-progress, and equipment adventures.

\- Prepare detailed progress invoices and payroll submissions with precision.

\- Maintain general ledger accounts and reconcile bank and credit card statements.

\- Manage property management accounting and leases for multiple tenants.

\- Lead month-end closing procedures and collaborate with the CFO on year-end schedules.

\- Support IT systems and database maintenance for smooth sailing.

\- Act as Human Resources, overseeing records, benefits, and more.

\- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

\- Embrace opportunities to improve processes and leverage technology for efficiency.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

\- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and organization.

\- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office apps, and Excel.

\- Ability to handle multiple duties in a deadline-driven environment.

\- Experience with cost accounting and GAAP principles.

\- Excellent communication skills for internal and external interactions.

\- Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent.

\- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience.

\- ERP experience preferred.

Full-time, On-Site,  Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts

Salary :$70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year (depending on experience)
