Marketing Content Creator

Can you tell a compelling story with pictures and videos? Do you have a creative gift as well as excellent technical skills?

If so, we need you as our Marketing Content Creator to lead our efforts to create engaging, high-quality content, aligned with our brand.

We’ll utilize the content you’re generating across multiple platforms and formats - our websites, YouTube, TikTok, emails, social media, and more. 

The ideal candidate excels in all phases of content generation and post-production to create raw content and transform it into engaging and compelling stories. This position balances creative and technical expertise - knowing what makes great content and why - and matches that with the ability to execute on that content independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create graphics and digital marketing assets for email, web banners, social ads, and more
• Create and edit video clips for our websites, Amazon, YouTube, and social ads
• Participate in ideation and review meetings for website UX/UI, photoshoots, and digital marketing campaigns.
• Retouch and edit all forms of imagery and graphics as needed
• Demonstrate effective time management and organizational skills required to present creative assets by targeted deadlines.

Your Qualifications:

• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
• Strong layout and typography skills
• Preferred: 3+ years experience with graphic design and creating and editing video clips
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Art, Advertising, Marketing, Web Design, or related field
• Preferred: Experience with Klaviyo email builder or email builder equivalent
• Preferred: Experience creating Facebook/Instagram ads, Google ads, and website graphics
• Preferred: Portfolio presentation; include the URL to the portfolio website
• Bonus: Shopify and/or website UX/UI experience is a bonus
• Bonus: Interest in outdoor sports who understands our products and our consumers

This role is hybrid with at least 3 days of in-person work per week at our Headquarters in Zion's Crossroads, Virginia (20 minutes east of Charlottesville).
