The Solutions Consultant is a self-driven sales professional with a tremendous reputation for cultivating and retaining relationships with key contacts to accomplish growth goals for LineDrive, our manufacturers, and distributor partners. Reports To: Sales Director

Territory: Ohio Tri-Valley Territory

Travel: On the road 4 days per week, 1-2 Overnights per month


What it Takes To Be a Successful Solutions Consultant(Account Manager):

  • Manage existing customer expectations while expanding reach and depth into assigned territory
  • Meet or exceed outlined sales goals for each manufacturer and distributor line
  • Network and keep in constant contact with distributors and manufacturers
  • Demonstrate resourcefulness when faced with challenges that defy easy solution
  • Strategize with contacts to meet with key stakeholders in the Top 50 customer list
  • Utilize Salesforce CRM to prospect and grow current book of business
  • Educate customers on the ROI of product by providing training and product knowledge
  • Learn and apply LineDrive sales training
  • Attend ongoing webinars and product training sessions


Requirements:

What You Need Under Your Belt to Be Considered:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree; required

Skills & Competencies:

  • 2-5 years outside sales experience; required
  • MRO Industrial supply background; required
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office tools; i.e. Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Ability to read a situation and address conflict in a proactive manner
  • Comfortable with public speaking with strong presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to progressively manage and maintain contacts with established customers
  • Flexible in learning and applying a new sales process to uncover customer objections/concerns and determine appropriate solutions where closing is the end result

Bonus Points:

  • Top rep, top percentile performer, consistent YoY overachievement
  • Experience using CRM software; particularly Salesforce
  • Experience with industrial sales distribution; preferred but not required
  • Established network of contacts in safety, purchasing, and decision-making roles within industrial facilities within the territory


Physical Demands:

  • Sitting, particularly for sustained periods of time
  • You have no visionary impairments that would affect your safety to walk or drive through a facilty
  • Ability to walk through end user facilities for up to 5 hours at a time
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Work Environment:

  • This position works remotely and generally works on the go, in a hotel, at an end user facility or from a home office. Our headquarters are located in Itasca so office space is always available if needed.
