Case Manager - Social Services

Our client, Everett Gospel Mission, engages with the community to alleviate poverty and is looking for a Full-Time Case Worker for their Men’s Shelter to help their clients achieve this goal. The successful candidate for this Christian, faith-based organization will be able to assess client needs, assist in developing a comprehensive action plan, and provide spiritual support. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate the integration of social services through case management with external service organizations.
• Promote effective and efficient utilization of local housing, legal, mental health and other agencies to assist the resident to remove barriers to stabilization.
• Mobilizes resources and connects with client, as needed, to achieve outlined goals.
• Collaborates with the case management staff in the development and execution of organizational goals and client action plans.
• Clearly document actions and interactions with clients.
• Maintains healthy boundaries with clients and staff while serving high need individuals in crisis and poverty.
• Responsible for having an understanding and working knowledge of the NASW Standards for Social Work Case Management.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Services or related field. A combination of experience and education may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Comfortable working in a Christian work environment.
• Proficient with computers and specifically Microsoft Office Suite.
• Able to meet deadlines.
• Organized and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work alongside mission staff, program clients, donors and non-profit partners required.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Enjoys a fluid and changing environment.
• Loves to learn.
• Fosters open dialogue.
• Emotionally mature and resilient and capable of handling pressure.
• A strong sense of professional ethics and personal stewardship of EGM's resources.
• Proven track record working with a diverse population highly desired.
