COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

When you begin as a Business Development Sales Specialist with SCDC, you will receive an income that is 100% COMMISSION ONLY* for a 90-day probationary period, with potential to convert to a salaried employee status with full insurance benefits after that time. Under the commission structure we offer UNCAPPED commissions with no limit on what you can earn. We sell a very high-ticket product, so only 25 sales will provide a $75,000 income. Also, 1 client can equal 5 or more future sales, to further multiply your opportunity for potential significant income.

After the 90-day probation period, successful candidates will convert to full time salaried employees with a base salary of $78,000, full benefits (insurance + PTO) and ability to participate in our Employee Building Purchase Program Option.

*For clarification, SCDC anticipates that your 100% commission only compensation as a W-2 employee during your probationary period will substantially exceed all Federal, State, and local minimum wage and overtime requirements, you will receive the greater of 100% commission or minimum wage, but not both.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Generate sales opportunities that can be converted to closings by building a genuine rapport with potential clients and demonstrating key features and benefits of our products and service offerings. If you have experience in any of the following sales fields, your skills will transfer well to this opportunity. The fields below have a related sales cycle to ours: • Home Improvement Sales • Security System Sales • Real Estate Sales • Mortgage Finance • Pharmaceutical Sales • Auto Sales • Any High Ticket or Sales to High-Income Individuals

SCOPE

We are looking for full-time professionals to join our team as Business Development Sales Specialists! These positions are 100% remote, and you have free rein to sell to any potential client in any state in the U.S. This position reports directly to a Regional Sales Manager.

 

5 ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  1. Present company products/services to new clients/investor-purchasers.
  2. Possess a network of investment minded individuals / groups OR have the social media skills to rapidly build such a network.
  3. Communicate with clients and generate interest in our real estate investment buildings for sale.
  4. Be professional and courteous while educating investor-purchasers about our product/service opportunity.
  5. Represent SCDC and its brand with integrity. As you will deal with proprietary information, you will have to sign documents that will restrict your ability to share information with outside parties outside of the sales cycle.

 

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  • Experience in sales lead generation in either real estate, investment, or a financial service industry is preferred.
  • Independent self-starter, self-driven work ethic, a passion for helping others, high level of integrity and confidentiality required.
  • Skills: Ability to influence and persuade others with previous sales experience a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including effective presentation and listening skills, excellent English language written and oral communication skills, strong attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Working understanding of Social Media Platforms (such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, etc.). Ability to build or already possess social media networks and / or networking skills.
  • Infrastructure requirement: Computer with video camera / MS Teams capabilities, internet connection, and private home office / location to hold confidential video conversations. SCDC will not reimburse or compensate for these items.
  • Knowledge: Knowledgeable and proficient in the Microsoft Suite of products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
  • ·Abilities: Ability to generate and manage leads and opportunities, ability to build rapport with clients, ability to interact with clients in live and virtual environments, ability to adhere to all compliance guidelines.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Communications, or a similar field preferred. Relevant Experience in lieu of education is accepted.
