Job: Resident Support Specialist
Job Description: The Resident Support Specialist, your central focus is to offer extensive aid and assistance to residents throughout their entire journey, starting from the initial application stage through to move-in. The role encompasses a range of responsibilities including general administration, leasing, collections, and lease renewals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Resident Support Specialist duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Guide prospective residents through the application process, completing paperwork, conducting background checks, and ensuring leasing policy compliance.
- Coordinate move-in logistics, ensuring a seamless transition for new residents.
- Manage general administrative tasks, such as maintaining resident records, updating databases, and preparing leasing documents.
- Proactively communicate with residents regarding lease renewals and facilitate the renewal process.
- Assist with financial matters, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, including deposits, collections of delinquent rents, and preparation of resident notices.
- Address resident inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and courteously.
- Ensure monthly Gracehill training compliance.
- Perform other duties as required by business needs.
Qualifications:
The Resident Support Specialist shall have the following skills, education, and experience:
- High school education or equivalent, with 1-2 years of experience in leasing, customer service, or related fields preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to read/comprehend, write, perform calculations, communicate orally and otherwise, reason and analyze, and make decisions under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and regulations.
- Positive attitude, empathy, and genuine desire to assist others.
- Physical demands include prolonged periods of sitting.
- This position is performed remotely, with some travel required.
