Content Director

As a Content Director, you'll support the digital presence of Union Church by being a hands-on content creator who imagines and executes engaging content in multiple formats and across a variety of platforms.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work within the digital team to create concepts that make sense for multiple platforms simultaneously (social, web, online, YouTube, etc.)
• Create and manage a multi-channel content calendar for a specific area of Union's vision.
• Shoot & edit video content, photos, motion graphics, or design.
• Recruit and pastor a team of content designers
• Identify and explore new opportunities for content creation
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and tools
• Adhere to Union's brand and style guide and content guidelines
• Analyze and evaluate content performance
• Have a high emotional intelligence and be able to process rapid feedback

• Expert knowledge of video production and editing
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, manage time, establish priorities, and communicate expectations
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to give and receive feedback and a proactive approach to team communication
• Likes learning new things and researching content topics
• Highly motivated and a flexible team player
• A portfolio of previous work (necessary for full consideration)

• Bachelor's degree or 2+ years experience in video production, journalism, or communications
• Familiarity with Union Church and its vision
• Knowledge of content trends and measuring tools
