About the Strategic Account Executive position:


As a Strategic Account Executive (SAE) at LoadSpring Solutions, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and fostering long-term relationships with our valued customers. Your primary responsibilities will include account retention and expansion, business development, conducting quarterly business reviews, and strategic account planning. You will serve as a trusted advisor to our customers, identifying opportunities for maximizing the value of our solutions and delivering superior outcomes.


What you'll do as a Strategic Account Executive:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing major customer accounts, serving as their primary point of contact for all account-related matters.
  • Proactively engage with customers to understand their evolving needs, challenges, and objectives, and identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and account expansion.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans for key clients, outlining objectives, strategies, and tactics for driving growth and achieving mutual success.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews with clients to review performance, discuss key metrics and KPIs, educate customers on LoadSpring’s portfolio of solutions, and identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Coordinate occasional on-site strategic planning meetings with key customers to discuss long-term goals, project roadmaps, and strategic initiatives.
  • Lead negotiations and navigate complex sales processes and long-term contract conditions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including customer relationship managers, product management, and marketing, to ensure alignment of strategies and initiatives to support client retention and expansion efforts.
  • Lead business development activities in a consultative approach, including prospecting, lead generation, and sales presentations, to acquire new clients and expand our customer base.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
Requirements:

What you'll need to be a successful Strategic Account Executive:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management, preferably in the SaaS or technology industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth within a B2B environment.
  • Strong consultative selling skills, with the ability to understand client needs and tailor solutions to meet their objectives.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset, capable of developing and executing effective account plans and sales strategies.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for client meetings and on-site engagements as needed.
  • Experience with project management or related software solutions is a plus.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Live in commutable distance to London for as-needed meetings

Compensation: £70,000- £85,000 base depending on experience plus commission.
