Schedule – M-F 8-5; No Call; Some Telehealth

Pay – $185k - $246k for Physician; $120k - $170k for Midlevels

Patients Per Day – 18

Job Description

A Santa Cruz based client is seeking Primary Care Providers to join its primary care team at a community health center. An ideal candidate works well amongst an interdisciplinary team, and can be a new graduate. This role involves providing primary care services to a community in an outpatient setting. Eight percent of the day is allotted to clinical time and twenty percent is allotted to administrative time. All providers do see some patient care remotely (from home) as well.

Required Qualifications

• Attended an accredited medical school with a MD or DO degree or PA/NP program
• Completed an accredited residency program
• CA license
• DEA certificate
• Board certification or eligible in internal medicine or family medicine
• BLS certification

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health by performing physical examinations and taking patient history
• Order diagnostic tests and laboratory studies, interpret results and create treatment plans based on results
• Perform therapeutic procedures, manage wounds and injuries, and educate patients on their treatment plans
• Arrange referrals, consultations, and therapeutic services for patients on caseload
• Document all patient encounters efficiently and according to organization policy
• Assist with utilization review, quality assurance, and risk management programs
