Building Automation System Graphics Specialist- Powers HVAC- Gulf Coast (Metairie LA, Bay St. Louis

We are looking for a Graphics Specialist to join our team. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining graphical user interfaces as well as designing displays for temperature control systems and related products for HVAC systems for commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining graphical user interfaces.
• Designs graphical displays for temperature controls systems.
• Integrates system documentation into user interface.
• Maintains graphics documentation.
• Assists in graphics labor scheduling and time management.
• Maintains graphics library and graphics standards.
• Meet with customers to interpret specification requirements relevant to the graphical user interface of building automation systems.
• Complete review and understanding of design support which includes logging & tracking projects and status. Support delivery of graphics to the jobsite to meet completion schedules.
• Adheres to all Powers and customer safety standards.
• The role is primarily office-based but may require meetings at customer sites and occasional travel to branches within the area.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Associate degree, or equivalent from two-year college or technical training preferred; and/or:
• 2+ years’ experience in BAS Graphic design
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Understanding of mechanical, electrical, controls drawings
• Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment
• Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral)

Preferred Credentials:

• AutoCAD
• General understanding of basic computer networking.
• JavaScript/Java
• Adobe Photoshop, CorelDRAW, Canva, GIMP, or equivalent software experience.
• Microsoft Office applications
• Building Automation experience

This position has the option to be based out of the Metairie, LA office or the Bay St. Louis, MS office. 

This is a Safety Sensitive position.
