Job Description

KIRCO/SKMM is seeking a motivated and entrepreneurial Business Development professional responsible for generating profitable sales growth by leveraging existing relationships and developing new business relationships. This team member will be responsible for direct sales by researching new opportunities and developing business relationships. He or she will network and foster relationships with investors, institutional owners, existing customers, new end users, brokers, and healthcare leaders. The position will work to support the growth of SKMM management engagements and report directly to the VP-SK Medical Management.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Network and develop a sales pipeline to generate new business.
  • Secure meetings with high level decision makers.
  • Position SKMM for key pursuits.
  • Identify potential projects that are early in the planning phase (RFP / RFQ), gather information that will assist in proposal responses and improve the chance for award.
  • Work with VP-SKMM on strategy, marketing, presentations, etc.
  • Prepare/lead/collaborate on RFP / RFQ proposal responses.
  • Working in a close team environment to see the process through from identifying a prospect to securing a management engagement, while also being able to work efficiently with little to no supervision.
  • Cross-sell service lines to maximize potential business.
  • Attend sales meetings to update colleagues on activity and market information, and to contribute to and benefit from others' market knowledge.
  • Attend networking, industry functions.
  • Provide clients with industry and market specific information as it relates to their business and maintain contact information on prospects.
  • Develop follow-up materials for clients.
  • Work on new business proposals and create new business presentations. Attend presentations.
  • Create and maintain SK’s market research database.
  • 50% Travel Required
  • Work to differentiate our services from competition. Manage and direct third-party brokers who may be hired to market identified properties.
  • Responsibility for design and execution of value proposition.
  • Responsibility for preparation of marketing related materials.
  • Submit all data required for prospect and target marketing reports, commission memos, etc.
  • Influence others through their professional presentation skills and overall demeanor.

 

Educational/Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and evidence of continuing education or equivalent years of experience.
  • Established relationships with real estate investors and institutional owners preferable with healthcare investments.
  • 7-10 years of experience in the commercial real estate property management industries, with medical experience preferred but not required.
  • Participation in professional organizations.
  • Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service.
  • Proven entrepreneurial and business experience.
  • Proven ability to grow a business.
  • High energy and constant positive attitude.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Use of various computer software applications related to general business practices.
  • Participation in professional and community organizations.

Performance Measures

  • Demonstrated building and expanding of customer relationships resulting in new business opportunities and revenue.
  • Growth in portfolio in total square feet, total revenue, and net income according to Strategic Plan Goals and annual business plan through demonstrated vision, creativity, entrepreneurship, and drive.
