Job Title: Service Manager (1 position available) FLSA Classification: Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Location: Onsite, Pflugerville, TX.

Compensation: 50K – 55K annually, commensurate with experience

As we continue to build a strong team, we are looking for an innovative, adaptable, and highly organized professional to join us as a Service Manager. The Service Manager provides leadership and accountability for assigned Service Department personnel; uses logistics skills to ensure data and operational processes are running efficiently and effectively, and takes ownership of client relationships for the service department. Essential functions:
● Maintaining a positive work environment for employee growth and development in the Service Department
● Leading and inspiring a team of employees for the purpose of meeting and exceeding assigned goals
● Create and implement effective service department SOP’s as needed
● Direct and maintain department logistics
● Provide data, analytics, and required reports in a timely manner

Work environment: This role is executed in a professional office environment. Routinely using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines


Physical demands: This role will require the physical demands of sitting, standing, bending, lifting to 20 lbs.


Travel required: Minimal Travel is expected for this position


Required education and experience:
• Highschool Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) equivalent, candidates with a minimum of 1 year of service management experience will be considered if no degree is held
• Proven leadership ability to influence, empower, encourage, and inspire others
• Demonstrated ability to meet goals and drive results
• Demonstrated ability to provide superior customer service and consistent growth in client relationships
• Advanced knowledge of basic office applications and the ability to learn additional software programs quickly and efficiently
• Excellent logistics skills
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Possess the ability to work calmly in high pressure situations
• Growing interest in the Solar Industry

Preferred education and experience:
• 2+ years of management experience
• 2+ years of experience with Customer Service
• 2+ years of logistics experience
• 1+ years in the Home Service Industry

 

Additional eligibility requirements:
• If hired, you will be required to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States
• Every employee of Longhorn Solar may be subject to a drug screening if extended an offer of employment
