Job Description

Summary/Objective:

This position is responsible for growth across the TEVO family of brands - DTI Management, 1Ticket and Ticket Evolution. The incumbent will oversee the sales process from start to finish. This includes cold calling through onboarding as an official DTI Member. The incumbent is also responsible for staying abreast of industry best practices and implementing them within the organization. Other responsibilities include training, coaching, and overseeing the management of the sales and service sectors. Retention of new and current DTI sellers will be factored into the overall performance review.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Actively prospects and researches new sales leads, establishes qualified leads, and closes sales across our 1Ticket, DTI, and TEVO seller verticals
  • Conduct phone and video conference calls and occasional face-to-face appointments to ensure sales processes are efficient and effective
  • Facilitate demonstrations of the 1Ticket, DTI, and TEVO products and services and provide training to sellers to ensure their success on our platforms
  • Understands the primary and secondary ticket industry to ensure compliance with the organization’s standards
  • Achieve and exceed annual personal sales goal established by management
  • Facilitate proper communication and reporting for all business lines
  • Coordinate with the Business Development department in the creation of service and support materials, including but not limited to, email templates, help articles, etc.
  • Strive to creatively contribute ideas to assist the organization in achieving sales goals
  • Participate in the resolution of seller issues as they arise, including follow-up as appropriate
  • Participate in special projects/project team(s), or other duties as assigned

  • Strong communication skills: must be comfortable with engaging in a variety of different communicative modes (verbal, non-verbal, and written) and being attuned to others through strong active listening skills
  • Must possess a strong ability to manage one’s own time and prioritize tasks when given clearly defined goals and objective
  • Able to identify problems, their sources, and their potential solutions while continuing to successfully conduct day-to-day operations without interruption
  • Knowledge and understanding of the primary and secondary ticket industry preferred
  • Proficiency in ticketing systems, managing ticket inventory, as well as third-party software, is a plus
  • A complete understanding of the Ticket Evolution brands
  • Willingness to travel when necessary

Knowledge/Experience Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum three years of sales experience, a plus if sales experience is with a professional sports team, entertainment agency or ticketing company
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google web applications (Chrome, Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets)
  • Problem solving, research, and analytical skills
  • Proficient computer and typing skills
  • Ability to work nights and weekends to accommodate the needs of the business

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones.
