About the Role
As SVP, Commercial Insurance Agency Client Service you hold a critical management position at one of Atlanta’s premier independent, privately held insurance brokers. A multi-faceted position, you direct administrative and client service teams which requires strong leadership and management expertise. You develop and implement the strategic vision for the client service function. You are keenly aware of the daily happenings within the service team, and at times dig right into the thick of important, critical issues, including at times key relationships you personally manage as the Account Executive.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee talent development with involvement in recruitment, hiring, mentoring, training, continuing education, and career pathing.
- Lead Client Service Weekly Team meetings. Discuss strategies for new business and renewals and share market intel.
- Be a technical resource to ensure each team’s needs are met (i.e. questions on coverage, how to approach an issue, problem solving a client concern, etc.).
- Develop a “Best in Class” client service platform. Use technology to ensure efficient workflows and streamline communication between the service team, producers, and executive leaders.
- Build metrics and set benchmarks to measure client service quality and account retention.
- Participate in strategic planning initiatives. Communicate updates and results on key initiatives. Work with key leaders in Human Resources and Operations on employee performance and management issues.
Skills & Experience
Minimum of ten (10) years of commercial property and casualty insurance industry experience. Prior management experience is required.
