Position Description
TAIT is seeking a dynamic and talented individual to join our team and support our proposal and marketing department. The ideal candidate will bring outstanding research, writing, and organizational skills to the organization. This role demands flexibility, the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and the capacity to follow instructions from various team members. Success in this position comes from a proactive approach, creative problem-solving abilities, and efficient time management. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Review and assess RFPs to decide on proposal submissions and discuss with the business development team; draft and submit RFP responses.
  • Perform administrative duties, including managing an RFP tracking log, completing RFP summary sheets, and screening bid opportunities.
  • Participate in pre-bid meetings and conferences to stay ahead of upcoming opportunities.
  • Identify and monitor new business development prospects through diligent RFP searches and through drafting proposals and reports.
  • Keep the proposal and business development schedules up to date.
  • Engage in special projects and content creation, such as conducting project interviews, crafting presentations, and other client-specific tasks.
  • Ensure all outgoing documents, including proposals, reports, and client communications, are accurately formatted, proofread, and finalized.
  • Provide support in contract administration.
  • Play an active role in advancing the company's strategic growth plans, aligning with both quarterly and annual goals.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a closely related field.
  • Experience with graphic design or Photoshop.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Superior writing and verbal communication abilities.
  • Self-motivated with the capability to effectively plan and manage personal task timelines.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment, including urgent tasks requiring quick turnarounds.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 1-2 years of relevant experience, with consulting background.
  • Experience in engineering consulting, architecture, or related sectors.
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer.
  • Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 15lbs occasionally.
  • Ability to drive personal vehicle as needed for large printing projects or other.
Salary and Benefits
  • Salary range for position: $20/hr - $30/hr
