Job Description

Position Summary:

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for planning and managing marketing campaigns that promote the company's brand, products, and services.

The job duties will include, but not limited to planning campaigns, analyzing metrics, and identifying trends. As well as direct and manage the execution of all marketing projects including, but not limited to, event planning, website updates, newsletters, advertising and promotional activities, trade shows, customer events and visits including users group meetings, and manage marketing sales support requests.

Essential Functions:

  1. Direct and manage event planning for internal and external special events, meetings, trade shows and seminars.
  2. Managing production of event materials.
  3. Proofread collateral and event materials.
  4. Maintaining news and information on company websites.
  5. Directing social media marketing execution.
  6. Directing the production and distribution of marketing collaterals and all marketing material supporting and enhancing company and product branding.
  7. Managing marketing needs from customers.
  8. Managing sales support from marketing including customer visits.
  9. Perform other job-related duties with managerial approval.
  10. Analyze digital data to draw key recommendations around website optimization.
  11. Conduct social media audits to ensure best practices are being used.
  12. Aligns and strategies with sales team to create segmented campaigns.
  13. Monitor key online marketing metrics to track success.
  14. Ensure that the brand message is consistent.
  15. Plan and execute all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns.
  16. Design, build and maintain our social media presence.
  17. Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
  18. Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights.
  19. Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies.
  20. Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests.
  21. Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience.
  22. Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
  23. Instrument conversion points and optimize user funnels.
  24. Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners.
  25. Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate.

Education, Training, and Experience:

  1. BS degree in marketing or a related field
  2. Minimum of 5 years experience.
  3. Proven working experience in digital marketing
  4. Demonstrable experience writing creative content and blog posts.
  5. Proven experience in creating and implementing Virtual Media.
  6. Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM implementation and optimization.
  7. Highly creative with experience in identifying target segments and devising digital campaigns that engage, educate, inform and motivate.
  8. Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
  9. Solid knowledge of website analytics tools
  10. Experience in creating and executing HubSpot campaigns.
  11. Experience in Salesforce, Adobe Creative Suite and Drupal CMS
  12. Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
  13. Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
  14. Enjoys working in team settings and can adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  15. Have an informative and clear communication style.

Preferred experience:

  1. Experiences with Medical Devices/Pharmaceutical/Hi-tech is preferred but not required.
  2. Experience in an FDA or other regulated work environment.
  3. Flexible, "can do" attitude.
  4. Team player who thrives within a team environment but is comfortable working on individual tasks too.
  5. Proven ability to plan, manage and executive multiple projects simultaneously.
  6. Able to act independently within specific parameters/guidelines to support the execution of activities.
  7. Able to prioritize multiple projects from beginning to end.
  8. Comfortable working with different personalities at all levels of the organization.
  9. Comfortable and confident interacting with physicians and senior level executives.
  10. Willingness to provide outstanding customer service.

Physical and Environmental Considerations:

  1. Must be able to sit/stand for long periods of time.
  2. Required use of standard office equipment including laptop, phone, copier, etc.
  3. Typical office environment.
  4. Must be able to walk on the factory floor.
  5. May travel up to 25%.
