We are currently looking to hire a Security Control Room Technician to join our team embedded with our client in Seattle! This position requires working onsite at our client's Headquarters in Seattle, WA.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Security Control Room Technician is responsible for monitoring the safety and security of the company's employees, facilities, and property using a variety of tools. The Technician is required to detect, analyze, and alert others regarding any adverse conditions to the company and its employees.The Technician will identify and monitor viable hazards to employees, operations, global assets, and the brand, reporting these threats to the company's leadership team, 24/7.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct continuous collection and review of open source information utilizing multiple systems and sources to detect potential threats.
  • Manage, coordinate, and disseminate crisis management information and directives during declared emergencies and/or preventative actions mitigating potential emergencies.
  • Act as a focal point for all threat-related information using all appropriate and available communications and systems.
  • Actively monitor travel safety and security of employees on a global, 24/7 basis.
  • Assist various internal teams by performing initial collection of intelligence points as requested.
  • Liaise closely with key partners to ensure purpose and scope of responsibilities in threat mitigation.
  • Identify threats and assist team members with providing a resolution of security incidents through analysis, investigations and prioritization of incidents based on risk/exposure.
  • Be the first point of contact for incoming calls, deliveries and requests to the Company and assist with administrative tasks when needed.
  • Monitor client security systems
  • Track the location and activities of all guards assigned to their shift
  • Dispatch security officers to investigate alarms and respond to incidents, escalate as procedure states and to the best of own judgment
  • Interface with base building guards to coordinate incident responses
  • Control remotely such as gates, doors, or other access points.
  • Track the available camera feeds to monitor location and activities

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelors degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2+ years of related security experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Preferred 2 years of demonstrated experience doing the following:
    • Effective assessment and evaluation of sensitive situations
    • Quickly and accurately identify and respond to critical issues
    • Research, investigate, compile, and assess information
    • Demonstrate planning and organizational skills
    • Skilled in synthesizing facts, concepts, and principles
    • Customer service mindset

Seattle, Washington Pay Range

$32.29-$32.29 USD
