Senior Account Executive for PR Agency

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Account Executive with 4+ years of agency experience to join our team. In this role, you will lead media relations efforts for a diverse portfolio of clients, working closely with journalists and influencers to secure impactful coverage. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, a strong network of media contacts, and a track record of driving successful PR campaigns.

• Develop and implement strategic media relations plans to generate positive coverage for clients across print, broadcast, and digital media platforms
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with key journalists, editors, and influencers
• Pitch compelling story angles and secure high-profile media placements
• Create social media content for the digital team to post
• Monitor media coverage and provide regular updates and reports to clients
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop creative PR strategies and integrated communications campaigns
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering strategic counsel and guidance on media relations matters
• Stay informed about industry trends and media landscape changes to identify new opportunities for clients
• Proficiency in real estate, law, and advocacy is an added advantage.

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field
• 4+ years of experience in media relations, preferably in a PR agency environment
• Proven track record of securing media placements in top-tier outlets
• Strong relationships with journalists and media contacts across various industries
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strategic thinker with a creative mindset and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in media monitoring and reporting tools
• Must be able to provide three professional references, including a previous supervisor.
