The Philadelphia Tribune Media Group is an award-winning, multi-media company and the nation’s oldest, continuously published African American newspaper. The company also publishes print and digital versions of the Philadelphia Tribune, various community focused supplements and as well as producing events of interest that impact the African American community.

Job Summary: We have a unique opportunity for highly motivated, ambitious advertising sales representatives, who can drive sales though networking, creating referral partnerships, cultivating relationships and creative marketing. This individual will represent The Philadelphia Tribune Media Group and its newspaper, community supplements and digital products in the Greater Philadelphia region. In your role, you will report directly to the Director of Advertising and Marketing and work with a self-motivated team of marketing and sales professionals. You will be representing a newspaper with an unprecedented legacy within the region’s African-American community and also played a significant role in some of the most pivotal events within the last 100 years in African and American history.

Job Requirement:

Establish new relationships with national, regional and local advertisers who can benefit from Tribune products and services.
Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals.
Possess a valid driver’s license and an insured motor vehicle
Dress in business attire

Desired Qualifications:

Must have high energy and demonstrates passion for marketing and selling
Possess effective communication skills
Possess excellent presentation skills
