How you’ll create an impact:

  • Identify prospective customers, lead generation and conversion.
  • Contact new and existing customers to discuss needs.
  • Emphasize the features of products to highlight how they solve customer problems.
  • Negotiate prices and terms and prepare sales agreements.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in many different sectors.
  • Maintain contact lists and follow up with customers to continue relationships.
  • Follow up on generated leads, along with cultivating your own.
  • Drive to potential customers’ home and conduct sales appointments.
  • Write proposals for each customer account which include photographs, instructions, diagrams, pricing lists and job worksheets.
  • Provide follow-up to customers by phone and re-visit customers as necessary.
  • Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.

What makes you stand out:

  • 3 to 5 years in the electrical field. A valid State of Michigan Journeyman or Master electrical license (preferred but not required).
  • Contractor’s license preferred (will be compensated for possessing it.)
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Have a valid driver’s license with insurability.
  • Have regular and punctual attendance.
  • Be proficient working with computer software.
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales.
  • Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience’s needs.
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
