Salary: $40,000 - $60,000 base salary plus commission (OTE $75,000 - $100,000)

Job Description:

As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling staffing services to clients in the construction, warehouse, and light industrial industries. No prior experience in outside sales is required; we are willing to train the right candidate. This role requires a self-motivated individual who is willing to attend after-hours networking events and take client calls during nights and weekends.

Responsibilities:

As an Outside Sales Representative/Business Development Specialist, you will:

• Develop new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and referrals
• Maintain and cultivate relationships with existing clients
• Identify potential customers using lead generating databases, newspapers, business directories, and other sources
• Travel within the assigned territory to meet with clients, solicit orders, and provide exceptional customer service
• Prepare sales contracts and customer applications, including quoting prices and credit terms
• Conduct job site surveys for both new and existing customers
• Generate periodic sales reports to track sales volume and potential opportunities
• Meet established weekly customer-call quotas
• Maintain accurate customer and prospect contact information in proprietary software

Requirements:

• Previous business-to-business sales experience is preferred but not required
• Must have reliable transportation to effectively contact and visit customers
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
