Title: Video Producer/Host, TheStreet

First Look:

TheStreet is seeking a Producer/Host to write and deliver (in the form of stand-ups, VOs, etc.) compelling video content to share on TheStreet’s digital platforms (TheStreet.com, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter). The ideal candidate is someone who’s passionate about business and financial news and is comfortable working in person to conduct studio shoots and interviews.

This position will work closely with the Executive Producer and TheStreet’s video team to ensure a smooth, consistent, and high-quality stream of video output. On an average day, there could be 3+ on-camera interviews/reads. For the host, that means being available to be at the NYSE (or other field/studio location) in person and film their pieces (direct-to-cameras, stand-ups, VOs, and interviews). When shoots are not scheduled, (which we anticipate being infrequently) it would be acceptable for this person to write/record VOs, stand-ups, or other necessary hosting skills from home.

The Arena Group’s expected annualized base salary range for this position is currently $125,000-$175,000. Actual salaries will vary based on multiple factors including, but not limited to location, education, experience and other factors permitted by law. The listed salary range is but one component of The Arena Group’s total compensation and benefits available to its employees.

What You’ll Do

• Write and host content for TheStreet.com

• Pitch ideas for scripts and interviews to the Executive Producer

• Produce shoots: including researching, booking, writing, and voicing

• Coordinate with editorial counterparts (social media team, reporters, other producer/editors)

• Deliver consistent and reliable high-quality content on schedule

• Maintain an efficient and effective workflow process

• Have knowledge of SEO and utilize best practices

• Additional projects as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Must have researching/writing experience - video scripts and digital posts preferred

• Digital-first (versus TV) on-camera experience preferred

• Reel/portfolio/sample clips preferred
