Edovate Learning Corp is looking for a Marketing Content Specialist who is a strategic thinker with an audience-first mindset. This position will create, edit, produce, and optimize the content for all of Edovate’s brands to support marketing and business initiatives and brand development. This remote position will report directly to the Director of Marketing. Key responsibilities and their applications are described below.

Requirements:Planning:
- Meet with marketing and sales teams to define content goals.
- Research education, homeschooling, and consumer trends to ensure content is relevant, motivates, inspires, educates, informs, and/or sells.
- Develop content strategies to effectively reach the company's target audience and help meet marketing and sales goals.
- Ensure that SEO and SMO strategies are effectively implemented.
- Research, curate, and implement content calendars and ensure brand voice is consistently followed.
- Keep up to date with content trends, competitor content, audience preferences, and technological advancements.
- Develop and present content topics to marketing and sales teams.
Execution:
- Lead, research, and write content, working collaboratively with the marketing team and internal subject matter experts for all Edovate brands and platforms, including emails, blogs, websites, landing pages, white papers, trade show materials, etc.
- Proofread and edit all content materials for accuracy and quality, including spelling, grammar, punctuation, voice, and syntax.
- Work to develop video scripts and content (when needed)
- Support PR needs: interviews, press release writing, and development
- Adhere to outlined Standards of Excellence for job performance and all job responsibilities
Administration:
- Refine and maintain the voice of all brands through written and digital content
- Manage the publishing process of blogs
- Edit website content as needed for all brands
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of the editorial content calendar
Skills & Qualifications:
- B.A. in English, Communications, Marketing, or Journalism
- Experience working in the education field is required
- Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, or similar role
- Knowledge of digital marketing tactics, including SEO, email marketing, and web analytics
- Proven writing skills, as well as the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively
- Experience working in a marketing environment
- Background in homeschooling and education preferred
- WordPress experience preferred
- Strong proofreading skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
