Industrial Technician
Looking for experienced Maintenance Technicians that are mechanical and/or mechanical and electrical.
The schedule is a PM 7p-7a, 12 hour on a 2-2-3 rotation.

Oversee the industrial equipment of a manufacturing plant, from installation to troubleshooting. They are called upon to improve the plant’s efficiency, upgrade to new technologies, repair equipment, increase production, and reduce manufacturing issues. They conduct routine tests, evaluate plant machinery, and fix problems promptly. They must review operational plans to ensure the machinery and processes meet compliance regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Administer and resolve all technical and electrical maintenance issues
· Build and troubleshoot industrial control systems including writing simple Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) logic
· Install and terminate industrial machine connections
· Install and maintain all electrical components and systems including electronic sensors, motors, drives and PLC systems
· Read electrical schematics, blueprints, sketches, layouts, circuit diagrams
· Run conduit and pull wires
· Minor plumbing duties
· Perform regular audit on all safety control programs
· Collaborate with various departments to maintain mechanical integrity of all plant programs
· Evaluate all production activities by inspecting plant machines and equipment
· Comply with Company Safety Policies and Procedures, maintain an efficient and safe working environment for all employees
· Utilize problem solving techniques to resolve complex manufacturing problems and introduces innovative solutions
· Facilitates professional development by conducting on-the-job training of other technicians and needed assessments
· Communicate with all aspects of the operations, from Managers to plant personnel
Required Qualifications
· Minimum of 4 years of mechanical & electrical experience
· At least 5 years of experience in facilities and/or maintenance
· Must have excellent communication and change management skills
· Ability to resolve issues in a tactful and diplomatic manner
· Requires strong organizational and time management skills and be able to effectively handle multiple projects concurrently
· Strong troubleshooting skills
· Mechatronic skills
Preferred Qualifications
· Formal Training or Trade Schooling
· Knowledge of Furnace controls, pumps, cooling towers, chillers, and compressors
· Knowledge of Automated Control Systems, electrical systems, water systems, procedures, hydraulic and pneumatic understanding
· Awareness of state/local regulations, building codes and OSHA standards and regulation
