Clinical Manager - BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst)

The Clinical Manager is responsible for the oversight and implementing systems and management of the Board-Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCaBAs), Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), Behavior Technicians (BTs), and all support staff in their care team. We seek a practitioner who is motivated to lead by example, who is skilled in using Behavior Skills Training, developing clinical programs and managing multiple personalities of staff members.

In this role, you will have BCaBAS on your team to assist with RBT supervision, parent training, assessments, program development/modification and behavior reduction goals. This is the perfect role for BCBAs who have extensive caseload management experience and are ready to lead a team. Autism 360 is committed to several levels of support for our clinical team.

Autism 360 is a locally-owned and family-run organization located in the state of North Carolina. We are currently seeking talented clinicians in the following locations: Charlotte, Matthews, Conover, Hickory and Shelby, NC.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Fulfills all responsibilities of the Board Certified Behavior Analyst AND:
  • Follow all agency policies, procedures, and processes including those outlined below and all others determined necessary by the CEO. The Clinical Manager should embody professionalism, warmth, and an open door for families and team members at all times.
  • The Clinical Manager will be assigned BCaBAs to supervise, mentor, and oversee. Assisting them with developing their clinical and professional skills as well as preparing them for the BCBA exam.
  • The Clinical Manager will continue practicing clinical skills in weekly supervision, caregiver trainings, development of behaviors support plans as well as modeling effective supervision and program modification to their clinical team.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to further the mission and work of the agency. This includes addressing any concerns surrounding ABA goals, staffing, or treatment services.
  • Provide on-site coaching and training to all technicians working with assigned caseloads. This includes clarifying ABA techniques, modeling, creating educational handouts, etc. The Clinical Manager will also relay any technician skill deficits to the assigned BCaBA and subsequently collaborate on new strategies to ensure proper implementation of ABA principles.
  • Collaborate with Mentorship Coordinator to create and coordinate clinical support curriculum and materials in conjunction with training the BCaBAs and support staff; ensuring quality work including but not limited to attending all assessments, evaluations, supervision, and other pertinent meetings to monitor and mentor BCaBA until they can perform quality work and/or as a refresher to improve work.
  • Foster positive team culture and support coordination of team building activities. This includes developing constructive thoughts exercises, friendly competition between teams, and providing individual support to team members as needed.
  • Actively work toward clinical department annual goals, as determined collaboratively with the VPCO and leadership team.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and participating in professional societies
  • Other job duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Graduate of an accredited college or university with a master’s degree in Applied Behavioral Analysis or related human service field and have a minimum of five years of full-time post graduate experience with the population served.
  • Always maintain current certificate and trainings.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License, clear criminal background, clear healthcare registry check, and driving record during employment.

  • Understand behavioral situations and react accordingly in an ethical manner
  • Demonstrates organization, assertiveness, flexibility, and cooperation in performing job responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively and make recommendations to various agency staff
  • Perform general clerical duties including preparing clear and concise reports as needed
  • Communicate effectively in both oral and written form
  • Use a computer to prepare documents and maintain client records
  • Work with a diverse team of professionals in a respectful manner

Other Requirements:

  • Criminal history background check, and drug testing
  • BCBA Certification
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • Proficiency in Central Reach or equivalent software
  • Availability Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
  • Onsite
