Logistics and Data Entry Associate

A South Orange County laboratory company is seeking a Logistics and Data Entry Associate to join their team. This individual will be responsible for assisting the supply chain team and is a liaison between vendors and carrier services. 

This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with pay starting at $20/hour. The hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5pm. 

Logistics and Data Entry Associate Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for pre-analytical data entry for clinical operations.
• Monitor inventory by physically counting items and creating
  regular inventory reports.
• Logging inventory counts electronically and entering in ERP
  system (Microsoft Business Central)
• Fulfill internal inventory transfer request
• Receiving incoming shipments and preparing outgoing
  shipments.
• Liaising with vendors and carrier services to coordinate
  logistics and timelines.
• Assisting customers and resolving shipment issues and
  complaints.
• Preparing and maintaining shipment paperwork, records, and
  digital databases.
• Maintaining an accurate log sheet of daily moves, scanning
  inventory, and counting accurately.
• Place merchandise in a warehouse or storage facility by
  packaging, lifting items as necessary, and pallet jacks for
  large goods
• Strong sense of time organization and urgency
• Able to work independently and within a team
• Provides additional backup support for shipping and receiving
  departments

Logistics and Data Entry Associate Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Attention to detail
• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong sense of time organization and urgency
• Able to work independently and within a team
