About Us:

ShipperHQ is headquartered in Austin, TX making a big impact in the e-commerce shipping space. Founded in 2009, we are a premier supplier of shipping software for e-commerce sites, selling to both SMB and Enterprise customers. We have 50+ team members spread across the US, UK, Canada, India and Australia. 30+ members are based in Austin, TX. We are seeking an ambitious and self-motivated individual with a positive attitude and a strong collaborative mindset.

What you'll do:

The Director of Marketing will lead the development and execution of our overall marketing and communications strategy with a particular focus on lifecycle marketing, product, and content marketing. This role will work closely with teams across the organization from Product, Operations, Partnerships, and Sales to create a comprehensive and impactful marketing engine.

Your Impact:

  • Turn insights into strategies: Turn insights and ideas into strategies, campaigns, and experiments that prove impact for ShipperHQ. Define, monitor, and analyze reporting on progressive digital marketing KPIs, applying insights and implications to future marketing activities.

  • Lead Core Marketing Strategy Implementation: Lead the implementation of the core marketing strategy across digital channels, owned, earned, and social

  • Support the sales engine: Work closely with the Sales team to optimize the MQL to SQL conversion process, increase enablement, and achieve sales-qualified opportunity quotas through management of lifecycle marketing, CRM, product, content, and social media.

  • Own Digital Acquisition Strategies: Drive customer acquisition across a mix of digital marketing channels, including paid search, social/paid social, SEO, sponsored content, and email

  • Manage the Team: Manage and lead a team of exceptional marketing professionals. Define, monitor, and analyze reporting on progressive digital marketing KPIs, applying insights and implications to future marketing activities

  • Driving Website Conversion Rate Optimization: Own and drive website conversion rate optimization (CRO) to generate qualified leads and increase site engagement

  • Building Strong Relationships: Establish strong relationships with partnerships, sales, product, and partner marketing

  • Growth Strategy Development: Design and implement successful marketing strategies by setting clear, achievable growth objectives for the marketing department.

What we're looking for:

  • Experience: 8+ years of marketing experience or comparable seniority with at least 3+ years experience in a senior management role marketing SaaS or Tech. Emphasis on product marketing and lifecycle management is a plus.

  • Team Leadership: You have experience leading and developing a marketing team while fostering a collaborative environment.

  • Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with WordPress, Buffer, Slack, and Google Apps.

  • Project Management Expertise: You can prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and allocate resources to effectively manage and execute marketing projects from inception to completion.

  • Implementation and Execution: You have a track record of successfully executing plans that increase traffic, leads, and revenue.

  • Hubspot Expertise: You have demonstrated proficiency in utilizing HubSpot for marketing automation, CRM, and analytics, and leveraging it effectively to drive marketing efforts and achieve business goals.

  • Performance Metrics: You're proficient in setting and measuring key performance indicators (KPIs) related to traffic, leads, and revenue growth.

  • Personality traits: You're a strategic thinker who can make quick, impactful decisions and communicate them well. You have outstanding time management skills, including the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines while maintaining a strong leadership presence with the team.

  • Attitude: You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment with a collaborative mindset. You're poised to dive in, effortlessly handling tasks of all sizes with a can-do attitude and a readiness to get the job done, no matter the scale.

Logistics:

  • We are only considering candidates within the Austin area as this is a full-time position working out of our Austin, TX office 2 days a week
