Scope-Purpose:

The Programs Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring programs are conducted in accordance with guidelines and regulations. They will serve as a member of management team to develop, perform, and lead program activities i.e. vaccine initiatives. Programs Coordinator will work closely with Clinic Operations, Facility Operations, Information Technology, and other supporting areas/development teams to help ensure active participation in grant, HRSA, and other programs.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Direct, manage, maintain, and report data for the vaccine program in accordance with MPCA
  • Create and coordinate special and on-going events to help improve vaccine rates among coworkers, patients of Fordland Clinic, and members of our community
  • Attend MPCA, State, or National meetings regarding vaccine information and communicate this information with appropriate team members
  • Attend management huddles, clinical huddles, all-staff meetings, and other in-person or virtual meetings as needed to conduct Fordland Clinic business
  • Compile and prepare monthly, annual, and trending reports based on requirement
  • Become efficient with EMR and document vaccines, as well as other clinic software
  • Preside over quality improvement programs regarding vaccines and other programs, as needed
  • Evaluate quality events, incidents, queries, and complaints for process improvement
  • Keep up to date with all related quality legislation and compliance issues
  • Provide leadership and strategy in line with objectives
  • Assist in providing training to all staff involved in specific program
  • Assisting the CEO, COO, CFO, CMO and other administration team member with programs or projects
  • Other duties as related to a growing Community Health Center


Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree
    • 4+ years of clinical experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
  • 2 or more years' experience in medical field or in project management preferred.
  • Experience working in operations management and/or medical clinical experience preferred.

Work hours:Full-time, hourly position - In order to maintain full-time status, a minimum of 30 hours per week on average are required, though 40 hours a week will be expected for this position. Clinic hours are 8:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday, and 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Saturday. This position may be scheduled to work any of the days the clinic is open (Monday through Saturday) and may be scheduled to arrive 15 minutes prior to opening and may be scheduled to leave one hour after closing, depending on patients scheduled.
