Job Description

This position will be primarily remote with some occasional required attendance to local events in the Portland Metro area.

Position Summary
The Social Media Coordinator will primarily be writing web content for DC Builders and DC Structures, with other projects, frequently arising. The ideal candidate must remain flexible to account for the ever-changing priorities and business needs of our build, kit, and design firms.

Skills & Qualifications

Advanced writing skills, including experience writing blog and website content is a must
Familiarity with a CMS like WordPress
Google Analytics knowledge
Ability to independently plan and execute PR and/or marketing strategies
Social media mastery (Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, HootSuite, etc.)
Previous marketing, PR, advertising agency, or graphic design experience is a plus
Must be comfortable in a client-facing role
Experience with event planning and coordination is a plus
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
Understanding of graphic design principles
HTML, CSS, and/or PHP knowledge preferred
Knowledge of search engine marketing, search engine optimization, and link building
Willingness to occasionally tackle tasks well outside your job description
Familiarity with CRMs (Hubspot, Salesforce, Zoho, etc.)
Must possess a growth mindset, high character, and positivity
