Position Overview:

Our client, an early-stage startup in the biotech space is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Marketing/ Business Development. This person will lead their marketing efforts and drive awareness of our brand, products, and mission. As the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that align with their company's goals and values. You will play a critical role in shaping their brand identity, building market presence, and driving demand for our sustainable biotechnology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic marketing plans to promote our biotechnology products and solutions.
• Map the market to identify new customers.
• Lead the development of marketing collateral, including website content, product brochures, presentations, and sales materials.
• Build and manage the company's digital presence, including website management, social media strategy, email marketing, and online advertising campaigns.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, sales, and operations, to ensure alignment of marketing initiatives with business objectives.
• Plan and execute targeted marketing campaigns to generate leads, engage customers, and drive sales growth.
• Measure and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns using relevant metrics and KPIs, and optimize strategies accordingly.
• Manage the marketing budget effectively, allocating resources to maximize ROI and achieve business objectives.
• Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, industry influencers, and media outlets to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
• Stay informed about industry developments, emerging trends, and best practices in biotechnology marketing and sustainability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or chemistry; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience in marketing leadership roles within the biotechnology or sustainability sectors.
• Strong understanding of biotechnology products and technologies, with the ability to communicate complex scientific concepts to diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies that drive business growth.
• Proficiency in digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret data to inform decision-making and optimize marketing performance.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to inspire and influence stakeholders at all levels.
