VoiceComm is looking to grow and expand the Product Management Department. We are looking for an experienced Product Manager with expert knowledge of the Cell Phone Accessory Business.
Position Overview
Reporting to the Director of Product Management, the Category Product Manager will play a critical role in VoiceComm’s success by nurturing strong, long-lasting relationships with consumer-recognized tech accessory brands to support sales growth. The successful candidate will work with external vendor partners to develop and maintain an industry-leading portfolio of tech products and services. The Category Product Manager will work cross-functionally, with sales, marketing, and supply chain to ensure speed to market for new product launches and promptly respond to product inquiries. Duties/Responsibilities
Engage with vendor partners daily via phone and video calls to develop and maintain mutually-beneficial relationships
Present product information and opportunities externally to customers and buyers along with internal communication to Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain, including but not limited to Roadmap, Pricing, Programs and Promotions
Collect product setup information and recommend portfolio additions to drive revenue growth and margin improvement
Project manage new device launches: Research and maintain a comprehensive device roadmap across all channels, work with cross-functional teams to ensure milestones are met for launches
Stay up-to-date on market trends and technology.
Research competition and recommend pricing strategies
Maintain knowledge of vendor contractual terms and ensure vendor compliance
Schedule and coordinate vendor trainings and visits
Participate in account planning and opportunity funnel management with Sales, Customers and Vendor partners
Conduct business reviews with vendor partners and recommend improvements
Manage process for new product and new vendor partner launches pertaining to assign categories and vendor partners
Work with Sales and Supply Chain on forecasting for device launches
Manage exit strategies for unsuccessful brands
Manage against budget and track to performance goals
Required Skills/ Abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with internal and external teams
Results-oriented, highly organized with ability to manage multiple tasks on numerous projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Strong planning capability and analytical skills

Strong Networking and Relationship-building skills – internal and external

Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Basic Knowledge of Google Workspace
Ability to Travel to attend customer meetings, events and tradeshows
Education and Experience
2-3 years of product management experience required (familiarity with Distribution and Retail industries is preferred with familiarity of Marketing, Sales and Supply Chain departments is a plus)
BS or BA degree preferred, but not required with appropriate experience level
Salary: Base of $80,000-$85,000 plus Bonus Opportunity!
