Job Description

PureDry is hiring a highly qualified Mitigation Manager to join our team in Snohomish/Seattle, WA.

The Mitigation Manager plays a pivotal role within our organization, overseeing a dedicated team responsible for handling every aspect of water damage restoration projects in our 24/7 operation. The department’s operation includes job intake with homeowners, in-home estimating, sales, and on-site technicians performing equipment setup and light demolition, all aimed at delivering efficient and high-quality restoration services.

We are seeking a highly qualified Mitigation Manager to join our team in Seattle, WA. In this confidential posting, the Mitigation Manager will oversee the entire mitigation process, from job intake through remediation, ensuring the highest standards of service and customer satisfaction in our 24/7 operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Team Leadership: Provide leadership and career development to a team of hardworking individuals. Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team environment.
  1. Department Management: Supervise and guide a multifaceted team of mitigation professionals, including job intake, estimators, sales, and technicians. Ensure teams are prepared and ready to manage their jobs daily.
  1. Customer Satisfaction: Maintain a customer-centric focus throughout the mitigation process. Address customer concerns and provide regular updates to ensure exceptional client satisfaction.
  1. Budget Control: Effectively allocate resources, including equipment, materials, and personnel, to optimize project performance in a 24/7 operation. Monitor inventory of equipment and supplies.
  1. Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to the IICRC’s applicable standards and company policies in all mitigation projects. Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to maintain excellence in service delivery.
  1. Estimating and Sales: Coach in-home estimating and sales professionals to secure projects. Support the development of accurate project estimates.
  1. Compliance and Reporting: Stay updated on local, state, and federal regulations relevant to water restoration. Ensure all projects adhere to environmental and safety regulations. Ensure the team maintains comprehensive project records in DASH.
  1. On-Call Responsibilities: You are managing a 24/7 Emergency Response Team. With this, you may be involved in responses to employees and/or customers after your normal business hours as needed.
  1. Safety: Enforce safety protocols and standards to maintain a safe working environment for all team members and subcontractors.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. Note: While a degree is preferred, we recognize that life/work experience speaks volumes to a candidate’s capabilities.
  2. 5+ years of experience in water restoration, with a successful track record in mitigation management.
  3. Strong leadership and communication skills.
  4. Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  5. Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-pressure 24/7 environment.
  6. Minimum of IICRC WRT, ASD, and AMRT (highly preferred).
  7. Proficiency in Xactimate, Dash, PowerBI, Microsoft Office, MICA, DocuSketch.
  8. Previous experience managing a team of direct reports (preferred). ​​​​​
