Lantronix is seeking an experienced and collaborative Senior Product Marketing Manager to lead the growth and success of our compute product portfolio that includes turnkey system level edge computing solutions and embedded system-on-modules. The PMM will be exposed to a broad set of technologies including ARM® based computing, RF communications (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Cellular), Ethernet networking, GNSS, Android and Linux operating systems, platform security, machine learning and artificial intelligence (ML/AI), and cloud management. In this role you will get to work with talented engineering, operations, sales, and marketing teams, to elevate and evolve our solutions to extend our global customer reach.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Translate the company business strategy into a compelling product strategy for compute products, services, and solutions

• Manage all aspects of the product lifecycle – from cradle to grave

• Define, own, and execute the product roadmap, in close collaboration with internal cross functional stakeholders

• Work closely with team to develop product launch plans and drive content creation with Marketing for supporting collateral

• Engage customers, ecosystem partners, and industry experts to understand pain points, uncover market insights, and iterate on our messaging and positioning

• Drive customer success, strong product margins, and lead the sustained growth of key product metrics

• Represent Lantronix at global industry events, including conferences, trade shows, and partner engagements

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong preference for at least 10 years of experience in product management, product marketing, business development or systems engineering with exposure to ARM® based computing

• BS/MS in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience is required

• MBA is good fit

• Strategic thinking and business case development will be an important part of this role. You should be comfortable with conducting market research, developing compelling use cases, conducting competitive and financial analyses, and developing independent convictions about future product directions

• Demonstrable experience in at least two verticals: intelligent transportation, smart cities, smart utilities, smart buildings, industrial automation, and retail

• Ability to comfortably present before diverse audiences, both large and small, internal and external, in technical and executive briefings

• Ability to travel as needed to support customers and product (10% / 20% - After Cov-19)
