What is the purpose of this Job?

The Technology support & Development Specialist plays a pivotal role within our Operations team, focusing on both direct support and back-end tasks to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Responsibilities include first line support of internal systems, administration of various technology related records, facilitating the integration of new employees, and spearheading projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency. Additionally, tasks encompass procurement of office equipment and supplies, managing IT inventory, and researching ways to increase efficiency within our systems. The position also involves attending various weekly and monthly meetings with internal and external stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities - 

  • Collaborate with the IT lead & Operations Manager on all aspects of assigned projects.
  • Act as the main point of contact for delivering technical assistance for designated hardware and software utilized by our field technicians and door designers.
  • Assist in managing IT inventory and overseeing the tracking of office assets to optimize resource allocation and support operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues impacting operations.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans and timelines, in coordination with senior managers and operations manager.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of IT procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for reference and training purposes.
  • Conduct regular audits of technology systems to identify and address potential vulnerabilities or inefficiencies.
  • Coordinate with external consultants or contractors as needed for specialized technical support or project assistance.
  • Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and external partners to ensure timely delivery of goods and services as needed for project execution.


Requirements -

  • Proficiency in written and verbal communication at an expert level.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices to ensure data protection and compliance.
  • Fosters a positive organizational culture conducive to employee engagement, collaboration, and productivity.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks seamlessly and prioritize effectively.
  • Serve as a conduit for effective communication and conflict resolution between staff members and senior management, ensuring the resolution of issues and fostering a harmonious workplace atmosphere.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with customers and vendors.
  • Demonstrated discretion in handling confidential information and ability to navigate competing demands while providing high levels of customer service.
  • Track record of achieving high-performance goals and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Actively contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the operations department, proposing ideas and solutions for enhancing workflow and productivity.
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, related field preferred or minimum 3 years of experience in operational support roles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 360. (Outlook, Word, Excel, and SharePoint)
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) are a plus.


Working Schedule - Monday through Friday - 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
