System Designer

THE BASICS

Pay: We offer a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000, complemented by additional benefits.

Schedule: This is a full-time position, requiring your commitment from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. While the regular schedule adheres to these hours, flexibility is expected for occasional after-hours and weekend obligations, as well as in-town and overnight travel as projects demand.

YOUR DAY AS A SYSTEM DESIGNER

As a valued member of our team, your role involves collaborating with Client Relationship Creatives to set project timelines. You'll engage in the intricacies of the design and sales process, producing detailed system designs across various domains, including Lighting, Video, Audio, Rigging, Acoustics, Curtains, Networking, and Controls. Beyond the desk, your responsibilities extend to conducting site surveys, overseeing project installations, and participating in industry tradeshows and training events to stay abreast of technological advancements. REQUIREMENTS FOR A SYSTEM DESIGNER

• Experience in lighting, video, audio, rigging, acoustics, and curtains
• Familiarity with design software (Vectorworks, DIALUX, EASE)
• Ability to calculate rigging loads using industry-standard formulas
• Physical capability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to obtain clearances to work and visit K-12 school districts
