Digital Content Creator

As part of our continued growth and commitment to excellence, we are seeking a talented Junior Digital Content Creator to join our Marketing and Communications team.

As a Junior Digital Content Creator, you will primarily help lead our creative for still and video content creation for our social media channels, website, and other promotions. This individual will play a pivotal role in working alongside the Marketing and Communications team to facilitate the successful execution of the content being planned for our brand. Additionally, an ideal individual has a creative mindset, familiarity with pro-America issues and personalities, the ability to think strategically and generate innovative ideas. This individual thrives in a dynamic and collaborative environment while maintaining a positive attitude.

Responsibilities:

• Graphic designer/ video editor on Adobe platforms
• Working knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and Canva.
• Familiar with content creation equipment such as podcast mics and basic video filming.
• Social Media management experience on Hootsuite or Loomly platform; Loomly preferred.
• Monitors social media and news outlets to bring quick attention to stories relevant to banking and pro-America issues.
• Strong and dynamic writing skills to supplement blogs, newsletters, and social media posts.
• Will grow our online engagement through fan groups.
• Create content that aligns with the values and mission of Old Glory Bank while also finding innovative ways to create content to engage our customers and community.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and creative best practices to bring fresh content to our platforms.
• Acts as an advocate of the culture and vision of Old Glory Bank.

Experience/Skills

• Minimum of 6 months – 1 year of experience in a similar or somewhat similar position or internship.
• Ability to quickly absorb a brand’s voice and tone and translate that to brand social creative.
• Ability to work independently and proactively.
• Bilingual English/Spanish, fluent and proficient in both languages preferred but not required.
• Good verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. Strong teamwork, organization, and problem-resolution skills.
• Goal-oriented with a strong focus on completing tasks and producing high-quality results within a fast-paced environment.
• Enjoys new challenges in a rapidly growing, changing environment.

Education:

• College Degree required with a preference for a degree in graphic design, visual arts, or communications.
• Will consider candidates with a combination of 1+ year of experience in a very similar position with varying levels of education.
