Job Description

Instructional Designer, Talent Experience Operations
Our client is at a very exciting stage of evolution. With a growth in employee population, lines of business, geo-diversity, and heterogeneity of the workforce, it is imperative that the Talent (People/HR) function evolves accordingly, to shape and support this progress. One of the most critical elements of this evolution is the foundational ecosystem upon which we can scale personalized and inclusive experiences for the workforce.
The Talent Experience Operations (TEO) organization is primarily responsible for developing this ecosystem. This includes Talent Analytics, Talent Operations, Talent Acquisition Operations, Contingent Talent, Employee Health, and overarching Programs (Benefits, Talent Mobility, etc.). The TEO Strategy Enablement team sits at the center of all of these functions and is charged with building TEO to meet the ever-evolving needs of the business(es) and employees with a multi-horizon strategy, activated through effective organization and capability development, portfolio management, and company-wide partnerships.
Responsibilities:
  • In this role you will be accountable for the development of visual assets that contribute to our learning products
  • You will collaborate with peers across learning design on branding and development, iteratively build assets, etc.
  • While your core strength is within Visual Design, as a member of the team, you are accountable for communicating clearly with peers and working in a flexible manner to ensure we deliver engaging and motivating learning experiences
  • Develop and ideate effective visual design assets across mediums including, but not limited to: digital learning experiences, job aids, eLearning modules, video content, eBooks, print collateral, Google Slides training presentations, and the UX/UI of microsites
  • Apply your solid understanding of typography, photography, graphic design, and internal branding to all visual assets
  • Work collaboratively with other designers on concepts and development
  • Communicates visual asset development progress to partners – maintaining a facilitative approach, listening for both passive and active feedback, and iterating based on that feedback along the way
  • Ensure alignment with brand standards, design standards and guidelines throughout all phases of development and production

Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of work experience in visual design or a related field
  • Proven ability to develop graphics and layouts to support learning products in a range of formats: PDF, websites, e-learnings, e-books, presentations, etc
  • Solid understanding and command of graphic design principles, visual hierarchy, typography, and color theory
  • Must have an excellent visual portfolio
  • Ability to clearly articulate the rationale behind visual design decisions
  • A growth mindset and staying current with the latest visual design technologies and trends (ideally Articulate Rise, Articulate 360, etc.)
Compensation: $60.00 - $80.00 per hour
