Summary

Are you a dynamic, results-oriented individual with a passion for business development and proposal writing? We're looking for a Pursuit Specialist II to join our team. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in providing business development support to across business units within our company, with a primary focus on pursuit positioning strategy and proposal development/content authoring.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supporting the development of materials for proposals, statements of qualification, case studies, interviews and presentations recognizing the unified branding of the company. Writing proposal text and cover letters. Coordinates customization of staff resumes, project experience lists, project case studies, graphics and cover letters. Assists with preparation of interview / presentation materials which may include poster flipcharts, PowerPoint slides and/or multi-media productions.
  • Working directly with assigned project pursuit team including Project Managers, Client Service Managers (CSMs), Business Development leaders, and technical staff to gather information for the above and developing content tailored to individual Request for Proposals (RFP) requirements. Manages project pursuit process and schedules and coordinates timely receipt of assigned task materials from project pursuit team, including subconsultants.
  • Identifying opportunities for press releases and coordinating with technical staff and Branding/Marketing Communications department to facilitate development.
  • Maintaining and providing support for staff on marketing information systems, including the Vantagepoint CRM and Proposal database.
  • Managing concurrent proposal efforts.
  • Coordinating production, distribution and shipping of above materials and other client deliverables within required schedules.
  • Maintaining collateral/materials library in the firm's content management systems and Vision database.
  • Identifying strategic marketing campaigns and working with Business Line leadership and Marketing Communications to prioritize these efforts.
  • Attend tradeshows and/or other events as needed to represent the company.

Education and Experience

  • BA/BS degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of five years of professional experience in proposal development, ideally in engineering, architecture, environmental services, or other professional services field.
  • Proven track record of excellent written and verbal communication skills, emphasizing proactive communication.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams and build relationships at all organizational levels, including business development and technical staff.
  • Demonstrated capability to handle multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook, as well as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat.
  • Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint is a plus, and familiarity with database or content management and CRM systems is helpful.
  • Occasional travel may be required.

Compensation Range

$69,700.00 - $109,200.00

The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and California’s SB 1162. The final agreed-upon compensation is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to: individual education, qualifications, skills, prior work experience, competencies, and geographic work location. The total annual compensation package may consist of a base salary and eligibility to participate, after a qualifying period, in our performance and discretionary incentive bonus program(s).
