Event and Social Media Manager


Primary Job Functions Include:

Website, Digital and Social Media:
  • Capture, produce, create, and manage all Chaos content, videos, media, and marketing materials.
  • Conduct ongoing social media market research & channel development, improving brand reputation.
  • To grow Chaos's following and engagement, follow Influencer coaches, monitor similar and relevant channels and groups, and keep up with algorithm updates.
  • Respond to online discussions; this includes all Chaos channels as well as similar channels such as automotive, industry influencers, racing, drift, off-road forums, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, YouTube, etc.
  • Supervise social and website activity, respond to inquiries, keep conversations going, and identify and bring in leads.
  • Assist with website updates and content, and current promotions, and work with the web management team as needed.
Events:
  • Manage the events schedule and update our website, deck, and social channels as needed
  • Attend 10-15 events per year to manage onsite, most are local some may require travel. Job hours may vary depending on need and coverage.
  • Coordinate event staff and volunteers.
  • Act as liaison between Chaos and our marketing partners, sponsors, vendors, relevant authorities, property representatives, and event promoters.
  • Manage shop vehicles. Use shop management software and work with techs, fabricators, and relevant parties to ensure all vehicles and trailers are prepped, inspected, and loaded on time.
  • Execute event plans, including marketing and media, loading and unloading, lodging, and expense plans, and all logistics.
Shop Media:
  • Assist customers who contact us through all of our marketing and multimedia channels, including phones, emails, text messages, private messages, social media, websites, forums, walk-ins, and events.
  • Promote and sell promotional items, used parts, and vehicles through all social media and websites.
  • Assist with Katzkin sales, marketing and installation scheduling.
  • Keep the shop clean and organized, safe and ready to film and receive visitors
  • Assisting in shop operations and keeping up with customer builds and project developments. Knowledge of current projects is vital when posting and responding to online inquiries and communicating with our fans.
  • Assisting with organizing company functions and team builders

Other duties as assigned:
We are a small but agile team; occasionally, we may have to jump in and help each other finish projects or cover crucial staffing shortages. Occasionally, assist service staff with the following duties:
  • Identify leads and obtain the scope of work for new projects.
  • Provide customers with service and parts quotes promptly.
  • Act as a liaison between manufacturers, vendors, customers, and mechanics
  • Ensure all quotes, ROs, and other projects are progressing as scheduled and are queued appropriately.
  • Vehicle check-in and check-out, obtain a condition survey and update systems status.
  • Inventory and parts management, sourcing, ordering, shipping, receiving, and returning.
  • Ensure the techs have everything needed to complete jobs in a timely manner and stay on schedule.
  • Provide assistance in the shop as needed to remain on schedule.
  • Ensure we comply with all laws and fire codes pertaining to shop use.
  • Provide final test drives and quality inspections to ensure EVERY customer's vehicle meets the Chaos QC.
  • Ensure the shop and property remain clean, safe, and organized, delegating duties as needed.
  • Decal Installation on company and customer vehicles.
  • Manage and maintain inventory of shop supplies, consumables, and stocked parts.
